Email Setup with a Blackberry Device

Setting Up Email for the Blackberry with the Blackberry 6 or 7 OS

You can definitely set up your Blackberry to use email.

  1. On the home screen, click the Setup icon.
  2. Select Email Accounts
  3. Select Internet Mail Account

To complete the process, you will need to follow the phone’s prompts along with the information previously sent.

Setting Up Email for the Blackberry with the Blackberry v5 OS

  1. On the home screen, click the Setup icon.
  2. Select the Setup Wizard
  3. Select “I want to create or add an email address.”

To complete the process, you will need to follow the phone’s prompts along with the information below:

Replace the username and password with yours.

FOR ANDROID,

You can use your existing gmail app and add the mail box to it as shown below:

First time set-up

  1. In the Gmail app, touch Add an email address.
  2. If you’re adding:
  • A business email address that uses Exchange, touch Corporate(available for Nexus devices running Android 5.0 or higher).
  1. Follow the steps on the screen to add your account.

Add more accounts later

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. On the top left, touch Menu .
  3. At the top, go to the right of your username and touch the down arrow.
  4. Touch Add account.
  5. If you’re adding:
  • A business email address, e.g eecenau2003, that uses Exchange, touch Corporate(available for Nexus devices running Android 5.0 or higher).
  1. Follow the steps on the screen to add your account.

Note that when you add a non-Gmail account to the Gmail app, like admin@eecenau2003.org, you enter the username and password you use for that @example.com mail account. Your username and password are stored on your device, and aren’t shared with any third party (including Google).

MAIL SETTINGS

Use the settings in fig 1 as it applies to your account for username and password, the incoming and outgoing server remains the same.

Check this link. Replace the email and password with yours in the illustrations. Also, replace the outgoing and incoming server with server.rightclickng.com. Its better to use IMAP, therefore, choose the IMAP port which is 993.
